The inbox

How replies are triaged by intent, the stages and thread chips, taking over a thread, archiving, and marking a link won.

The inbox is where outreach becomes conversation. It sorts every reply so you can spend your time on the threads that matter and let the agent handle the rest.

Stages#

The inbox is organized into stages:

  • Sent, threads where a pitch went out and there is no reply yet.
  • Replied, live conversations with a reply waiting.
  • Won, threads where a link landed.
  • Archive, threads that are closed.
  • Other, which only appears when there is non-lead mail mixed in.

A newly opened agent lands on Replied. Empty states tell you where you stand: "nothing waiting on a reply", "no live conversations", "no wins yet", "nothing archived".

Thread chips#

Each thread carries a chip: Sent, Replied, Needs Reply, or Completed. Needs Reply is the one to watch, it flags a conversation waiting on you.

How the agent triages by intent#

Inbound mail is polled and classified by what it means: positive, a question, a meeting request, not interested, an unsubscribe, an auto-reply, or other. Based on that intent, the agent either answers, escalates to you, or leaves it alone.

It answers some replies on its own, sends nothing to an unsubscribe, a not-interested, or a bounce, and never replies twice without a new inbound message. Whether it answers on its own is a fixed behaviour today; there is no control to toggle it, so do not expect a setting for it. See what the agent asks you.

Taking over a thread#

You can step in on any conversation. Open the thread and use the reply box at the bottom, headed "Replying to ", and press Cmd+Enter to send. Taking over is how you handle anything nuanced, negotiate a placement, or answer a question the agent brought to you.

Archiving#

Archive a thread that is done, with a reason: Declined, Not a fit, or Other. Archived threads show how they were closed, rendered as Declined, Not a fit, No reply after 21 days, Bounced, Auto-reply, or Closed, and attributed as "archived by you", "archived by {agent}", or "auto-archived". You can reopen a thread from Archive if it comes back to life.

Note: a sent thread with no reply auto-archives after 21 days as "No reply after 21 days". A later reply reopens it automatically, so a closed conversation is never truly lost.

When a site adds your link, mark the thread won. An inline form opens, headed "Where did the link go live?", with a required URL and an optional note. Recording the live URL is what ties the win to your outreach in Results.

Warning: a won thread is terminal. It cannot be archived or reopened, so only mark won when the link is actually live.
